TY First Aid Training

On the 5th and 6th of November all of the TY students took part in a two day First Aid training course. The students learned vital skills they need to do basic First Aid such as how to do CPR and how to deal with someone who is choking. They also learned to deal with a person who is in shock and a person with minor injuries. This course was hugely beneficial to the students and the skills will help them throughout their lives.

Careers Fair 2019

The Bush Post Primary Careers Fair took place on Wednesday, 27th November, in the school Gym. The event was very well attended with nineteen exhibitors arriving to share their knowledge of courses and career options with our students. We were delighted to have Further Education Colleges, Institutes of Technology, Universities and Apprenticeship stands on the night offering their expertise and insight. Parents were also presented with a talk and information on the college application process. A huge thank you to the exhibitors, students and parents who made the Careers Evening such a success.
